Studio Funding Pre-orders:

How to Buy

I sell my work via “first come, first served” shop updates.

  • I will announce the dates and times of shop updates on my various social media accounts at least a couple days before the update will take place.

    • If there isn’t an active date posted on any of my social media accounts, then I do not know when the next update will be just yet. As soon as I know, I will let you know.

  • Shop updates will always take place in my Etsy shop unless otherwise stated.

  • I post photos of the pieces that will be available on both my Instagram and my Facebook. I post videos of the pieces on my TikTok

  • I also create a shop preview on here before each update

  • I will not sell an item ahead of a shop update to a specific person. I have gotten a lot of message requests of people “shooting their shot” and listing all of the reasons why I should sell the item to them specifically. I do not do this because it isn’t fair to everyone else who also wants that particular item.

I also have a “Available for Purchase” page on here.

  • the page is dedicated to gallery pieces or items at a higher price point that I do not want to list on Esty.

  • the page has detailed photos and descriptions of each piece and lists the price in the description as well.

  • if you are interested in any of the pieces on that page, please reach out with the “contact me” option on my “about the artist/contact me” page.

Pricing

Pricing will vary wildly depending on what it is you are looking to purchase and often I do not know what the price of something will be until it is finished.

However, as mugs are my best seller I will list a rough price range so you can kind of know what to expect.

My base mug price is $65-70. This price would be for a mug of average size with a more simple design that isn’t incredibly labor intensive for me. However, the price goes up from there depending on the size of the mug and complexity of the design.

Shop Update Tips

• Shop will be on vacation mode a bit before the update launches until the actual time of launch, this gives me time to upload all of the listings and hopefully helps alleviate some of the glitches that are common.

• Using a computer to shop, rather than the phone app does seem to work better for a lot of people. If you've had issues in the past and were using the app, I recommend trying to shop on a PC instead.

• Make sure to have your payment already set up and use the “buy it now” option to avoid having your item snatched from your cart before you can buy it.

• If you are comfortable doing so, use an actual card instead of Paypal, as the time it takes for Paypal to send you a confirmation code can be all the time it takes for someone to snag your item.

• If the shop gives you the option to search for pieces but none show up, try sorting the items by "lowest price" this can help force the listings to appear. You can also try toggling between the sort by "lowest" and "highest" options as a sort of "refresh" to help items show up.

I, of course, apologize for any system glitches, I cannot control how the site responds during updates.

Stickers

My stickers are currently only available as a full set, but in the future I plan to do some single sticker listings and other small bundles. But, I need to get my sh*t together first.

Custom Work

I do not offer custom work.

There are various reasons that all boil down to: I don’t want to.

  • I don’t do custom work because I only make what I want to make at any given time. I have a high tendency to “burn out” and making work that I do not like or enjoy pushes me to burn out faster. I will never be guaranteed that the idea someone wants me to make will be something I enjoy doing and I would rather not offer the option at all than have to deny requests after hearing out the idea.

What are the papers that I use?

They are called underglaze transfers

  • Underglaze transfers are made specifically for ceramic use. The underglaze needs to be fired in a kiln in order to set. Outside of pottery use, I do not know if they will work.

    • I am not, and will never claim to be, an expert about these products. If you have questions about them, I recommend reaching out to suppliers who definitely know more about them than I do.

  • Currently, I buy all of my transfers. I do plan on making some of my own in the future as well, but I have not started that process yet.

  • I buy transfers from Elan Transfers, Ceramica Transfers, Sanbao Studio, Dirtydeeks, and Plum Island Transfers. However, I am always searching online for new shops to buy from. I always recommend people shop around to find ones that they like to use.

  • My custom transfers were made using the custom transfer option through Ceramica Transfers

What are the tools I use to apply the transfers?

  • The black tool is from the Sculpey Style and Detail Tools set.

    • It comes with three tools, each has a rubber tip on one end and a metal tip on the other.

  • The purple and yellow tool is one that I made for myself

    • It is EasyMold Silicone Putty that I shaped how I wanted it and then I super glued it to a pencil
